Die Schmersal Gruppe erwei-
tert ihr Managementteam und
hat Michael Ambros zum Ge-
schäftsführer der K.A. Schmersal
GmbH & Co. KG bestellt. In
seiner neuen Funktion, die er
zum 1. Mai 2017 übernommen
hat, ist Michael Ambros global
für die Divisionen Verwaltung
sowie Vertrieb & Marketing
verantwortlich, während Ge-
schäftsführer Michael Mandel
die Leitung der technisch orien-
tiertenDivisionen bei Schmersal
innehat.
Der Diplom-Ökonom Michael
Ambros war viele Jahre in leiten-
der Position bei einer internati-
onal führendenUnternehmens-
beratung im Bereich Corporate
Finance tätig und verfügt über
eine langjährige Management-
und Berufserfahrung in den un-
terschiedlichsten Branchen in-
nerhalb und außerhalb Europas,
Neuer Geschäftsführer bei Schmersal
darunter USA und Russland.
Er leitete sowohl strategische
Unternehmens(ver)käufe und
operative Unternehmensop-
timierungen als auch Börsen-
gänge. Darüber hinaus baute
er in Indien über mehrere Jahre
erfolgreich eine Outsourcing-
Einheit auf. Seine umfassende
internationale Expertise wird
Michael Ambros
er nun als Geschäftsführer bei
der Schmersal Gruppe einbrin-
gen. Zum Führungsteam des
Unternehmens gehören neben
Michael Ambros und Michael
Mandel die geschäftsführenden
Gesellschafter,Heinz und Philip
Schmersal.

The Schmersal Group has ex-
panded its management team
and appointed Michael Ambros as
managing director of K.A. Schmer-
sal GmbH & Co. KG. In his new
function, which he assumed on
1 May 2017, Michael Ambros has
global responsibility for the ad-
ministration and sales &marketing
divisions, while the technically-
oriented divisions at Schmersal
are headed by managing director
Michael Mandel.
The graduate economist Michael
Ambros occupied executive posi-
tions in a major international busi-
ness consultancy in the corporate
finance field and has many years of
experience in a very wide range of
sectors in management and busi-
ness within and outside Europe,
including the USA and Russia. He
has been in charge of strategic
company purchases and sales and
operational company optimisation
as well as IPOs. In addition, he suc-
cessfully developed an outsourcing
unit in India over a period of several
years. The Schmersal Group will
now benefit from his comprehen-
sive international expertise asman-
aging director. Apart fromMichael
Ambros and Michael Mandel, the
management team of the compa-
ny includes themanaging partners
Heinz and Philip Schmersal.
