Die gute Wirtschaftslage hält an
und ein Ende scheint momentan
nicht in Sicht.Was man natürlich
immer mit Vorsicht genießen muss. Wir
versuchen, das Beste daraus zu machen.
Wir bleiben unserem Weg treu und set-
zen weiterhin auf innovative Produkte.
Ich freue mich auf die interlift 2013. Hier
habenwir wieder dieGelegenheit, uns in-
ternational zu präsentieren. Dabei ist ein
besonderer Höhepunkt in diesem Jahr
unsere komplett überarbeitete, extrem
schmale Schiebetür. Wir präsentieren
diese jetzt mit einer Kämpferhöhe von
150 mmbei der Schachttür undmit unter
250 mm einschließlich Antrieb bei der
Kabinentür. Mit diesen Abmessungen
haben wir Aufzugtüren im Programm,
die den immer extremeren Schachtab-
messungen gerecht werden. Auf der
interlift 2013 treten wir zum erstem Mal
als Kabinenhersteller mit
europaweiter Lieferung auf.
Unser Motto dabei: „Alles aus
einer Hand“.

course, one always has to be
cautious in this regard. We will
try to make the best of this. We will remain
on the path we have adopted and continue
to rely on innovative products. I am look-
ing forward to interlift 2013. We will once
again have the opportunity here to present

Für uns als Betreiber ist der Besuch
der interlift sehr wichtig. Viele un-
serer Aufzüge kommen in die Jahre
und sind über 25 Jahre alt. Um für die
Zukunft gerüstet zu sein,
sollen unsere Aufzüge mit
einerTechnikmodernisiert
werden, die auch in zehn
Jahren noch einigermaßen
mit neuen Bauteilen er-
weiterbar und kompatibel
ist. Netzwerkfähigkeit ist
folglich ein großes The-
ma. Ebenso die Anlagen-
überwachung – allerdings
muss diese erst kompatibel
werden. ZumBeispiel sind
25 verschiedene Systeme
für einen elektronischen
Aufzugswärter nicht hän-
delbar. Solche Systeme müssen einen
gleichen Standard haben und mit einer
Software visualisierbar sein. Folglich ist
ein Messebesuch unabdingbar. Nur dort
sind die Alternativen zur gängigenTech-
nik zu finden.
For us as operators attending interlift
is very important. Many of our lifts are
getting on and are over 25 years old.
In order to be able to face the future our
lifts should be modernised
with technology that can still
be upgraded to some extent
with new components and
is compatible. Consequent-
ly, network capability will be
a major topic. So too will be
lift monitoring – but this has
to be compatible first. For
example, 25 different sys-
tems cannot be handled by
an electronic lift attendant.
Such systems need to have
the same standard and be
capable of visualisation via
software. Hence attending
the fair is indispensable. Only here can
the alternatives to common technology
be found.

accompanying the leading world
fair in Augsburg for ten years –
since then a lot has changed in
the lift industry. We are greatly
looking forward to seeing what
innovations will be unveiled in
Augsburg this year and how the
market will in future change. We
will keep our finger on the pulse
of developments for you and
continue to keep you up to date
on new products and what’s
going on in the industry. Apart

Seit 2003 bin ich mit Planung und als
Aussteller mit der Firma LiftEquip
GmbHbei der interlift dabei.Neben
denKernkomponentender Antriebs- und
Sicherheitstechnik wurden von Lift­
Equip immer wieder auch Randbereiche
vorgestellt. 2013 sind Lösungen für den
Bereich der Modernisierung sowieTüren
und erstmals Produkte im Bereich der
Homelifts zu sehen. Als Aussteller ist
es uns wichtig unsere neuen Produkte
und die bezogen auf Anforderungen der
Regelwerke geänderte Produkte unseren
Kunden, Planern, Beratern, Architekten
und Betreibern vorstellen zu können.
Bei keiner anderen Veranstaltung trifft
man auf eine derart große Resonanz
wie bei der interlift. Mein Anspruch an
diese Messe ist, die aktuellen Wünsche
und Anforderungen der Kunden und des
Marktes zu erfahren, damit wir unsere
Kunden entsprechend
beraten und mit der
jeweils passenden Lö-
sung bedienen können.
Ich freue mich auf inte-
ressante Gespräche.
Ihave been involved
with interlift since 2003
in terms of planning
and as an exhibitor of
LiftEquip GmbH. Apart
from the core drive and
safety technology com-
ponents, LiftEquip has
also repeatedly presented ancillary areas.
In 2013 solutions for the area of moderni-
sation and doors will be on display as well
as for the first time products in the field
of home lifts. As an exhibitor what counts
for us is being able to unveil our
new products and those prod-
ucts changed to meet require-
ments of regulatory codes to our
customers, planners, advisors,
architects and operators. At no
other event does one encounter
such a great response as at
interlift. What I expect from this
fair is to learn more about the
current wishes and requirements
of customers and the market so
that we can advise our custom-
ers accordingly and serve them
with matching solutions. I am
looking forward to interesting
discussions.

Es ist wieder so weit, die interlift
2013 startet. Wird es große Über-
raschungen geben? Ich denke eher
nein. Das Thema A3 ist ziemlich durch.
Eventuell wird der eine oder andere Her-
steller schon Bezug auf die neue Norm
81-20/50 nehmen – mal schauen. Ich
denke, dass insbesondere bei
den bekannten Produkten
Weiterentwicklungen zu se-
hen sein werden. Aber es gilt
auf der Messe wieder einmal
persönliche Kontakte zu pfle-
gen, da diese imZeitalter der
elektronischen Medien doch
immer mehr verkümmern.
Das VFA-Forum bietet wie-
der interessanteThemen, die
man nicht verpassen sollte.
Auch die Besuche bei den
verschiedenen Fachverbän-
den stehen auf dem Stun-
denzettel. Also freuen wir uns auf einen
entspannten Messebesuch.
The time has once again arrived,
interlift 2013 is beginning. Will there
be major surprises? I rather doubt
it. The topic of A3 has been more or less
dealt with. One or other manufacturer
may already deal with the new 81-20/50
standard – we‘ll see. I expect that further
developments will be found
particularly among the well-
known products. But what
counts at the fair is once
again cultivating personal
contacts, since in the age of
electronic media these are
continuing to atrophy. The
VFA-Forumwill offer interest-
ing topics that one should
not miss. Visits to the various
trade associations are also on
the agenda. We are looking
forward to a relaxed fair visit.

Deutscher Maschinen und Anlagenbau
(VDMA) repräsentieren wir mit unserem
Fachverband Aufzüge und Fahrtreppen
ca. 80% der Branche.
Nach vielen Jahren, in denen Sicherheit

waren und auch heute noch sind, beschäf-
tigen wir uns 2013 insbesondere mit dem
Thema Fachkräftemangel. Mit verschie-

für Berufseinsteiger bekannt und attrak-
tiv zu machen, möchte der VDMA junge
Menschen für die Berufsbilder der Bran-

Thema ein vielseitiges Programm.
Die interlift hat sich als großes Bran-
chentreffen etabliert. Ich persönlich freue

Aufzüge und Fahrtreppen
nicht nur Beruf, sondern

still are today, this year we will in particular
be dealing with the shortage of specialists.

meeting. As the chairman
of the VDMA Trade Asso-
ciation I am in particular looking forward
to meeting many people (again) for whom
lifts and escalators not only represent their
job, but also a vocation and fascination.

more about the various professions of the
industry and their companies.
