Die Strack Lift Automation GmbH
produziert neben Aufzugsteu-
erungen und Tableaus seit 1991
auch Lichtgitter und Sicherheitslichtgit-
ter für Aufzüge. Alle Lichtgitter werden
komplett in Deutschland am Standort
Wülfrath hergestellt. Im Jahre 2004
übernahm Strack die Lehner Optoelekt-
ronik GmbH und Teile der LAS (Lehner
Automatisierung und Steuerungstech-
nik GmbH) und erweiterte somit das
Geschäftsfeld Optoelektronik. Seitdem
sind viele Innovationen geschaffen
worden und der Absatz von Lichtgittern
z.B. der Typen ILG und LTÜ ist trotz der
Wettbewerber aus Niedriglohnländern
robust. Die Kunden von Strack schätzen
die hohe Variantenvielfalt, die direkte
unkomplizierte Kommunikationmit dem
Vertrieb, die schnelleVerfügbarkeit auch
bei Stückzahl „Eins“ und die Qualität
der Produkte.
Zur interlift 2013 stellt Strack einweiteres,
flaches Lichtgittermit derModellbezeich-
nung ILGA vor. Das ILGA ist nur 9,5 mm
dünn und kann direkt auf eineWand oder
Türstirnseite geschraubt werden. Die
Nennreichweite beträgt 0 bis 4Meter und
ist – wie bereits das ILG – vor Ort para-
metrierbar. Es können beliebige Bereiche
des Lichtgitters nach dem Einbau ausge-
blendet werden. Das ILGA enthält eine
moderne Fuzzy-Regelung, wodurch sich
die Inbetriebnahme auf das Einschalten
beschränkt. Ein Einfluss von Sonnenlicht
ist durch die außerordentliche Fremd-
lichtfestigkeit von mehr als 200000 Lux
praktisch nicht vorhanden.
Die Variante ILGA-LED hat dieselben
sehr kleinen Abmessungen und besitzt
zusätzlich zur normalen Lichtgitter-
funktion eine Rot-/Grün-Signalisierung
mittels sehr heller LEDs verteilt über
die ganze Lichtgitterhöhe, um die Auf-
zugbenutzer frühzeitig vor einer sich
schließendenTür zu warnen. Dieses wird
zu einer Erhöhung der Sicherheit bei Auf-
zügenmit viel oder ständig wechselnden
Publikumbeitragen. Auch für Aufzüge in

Krankenhäusern und Seniorenheimen
erscheint das ILGA-LED sinnvoll. Strack
versichert, dass der Einbau identisch zu
einem normalen Lichtgitter ist, wobei
zusätzlich nur das Tür-Schließ-Signal
angeschlossen wird. Laut Strack liegt
der Verkaufspreis nur unwesentlich über
dem eines normalen Lichtgitters.

Apart from lift controls and panels,
Strack Lift Automation GmbH has
been producing light curtains and
safety light curtains for lifts since 1991. All
light curtains are produced completely in
Germany at the Wülfrath location. In 2004
Strack took over Lehner Optoelektronik
GmbH and parts of LAS (Lerner Automa-
tisierung und Steuerurngstechnik GmbH)
and in this way expanded its optoelec-
tronics business sector. Since then many
innovations have been created and the sale
of light curtains, e.g. of the types ILG and
LTÜ, remains healthy, despite competitors
from lowwage countries. Strack‘s custom-
ers appreciate the great variety of versions,
the direct, uncomplicated communication
with its sales organisation, rapid availability
even when ordering only a single unit and
the quality of the products.hen ordering

Strack will be presenting an-
other flat light curtain at inter-
lift 2013, the ILGA model. The
ILGA is only 9.5 mm thin and
can be screwed directly onto
a wall or the front of a door.
The nominal range is 0 to 4 m
and – as is already the case
with the ILG – its parameters
can be assigned on the spot.
Areas of the light curtain can
be faded out as desired after
installation. The ILGA has a
modern fuzzy control, mean-
ing start-up is limited to turn-
ing it on. Influence by sunlight
is practically non-existent,
thanks to the extraordinary
foreign light resistance of
more than 200,000 lux.
The ILGA LED version has
identical very compact di-
mensions and in addition
possesses a red-green signal
for normal light curtain func-
tion, using very bright LEDs
distributed over the entire light
curtain height to warn the lift
user in time when the door is closing. This
enhances the safety of lifts with a great
many users or constantly changing ones.
The ILGA LED also makes sense for lifts
in hospitals and retirement homes. Strack
pledges that its installation is no different
to that of a normal light curtain; only the
door-close signal is connected addition-
ally. According to the manufacturer, it
costs only slightly more than a normal
light curtain.

ternative zumbekannten
DLF1 für Homelift-Anwendungen, wo
diese Art der Betätigung aufgrund der
Platzverhältnisse oft zum Einsatz kommt.
Darüber hinaus wird der ELF in Zukunft
mit einem multifunktionalen Einsatz an-
geboten. Darin sind Sperrmittelschalter,
Hilfsschalter und der Kontakt für die
überwachte Notentriegelung integriert.
AlleKontakte bzw. Schalter sind durch die
mechanische Kopplung zwangsöffnend.
Die verwendeten Kunststoffe sind UL-
gelistet und gemäßder Brandschutzklasse
UL 94V0 ausgeführt.
Immer mehr Aufzuganlagen verfügen
über keinen oder einen nur unzureichen-
den Schutzraum für die Monteure im
Schachtkopf oder in der Schachtgrube.
Häufig anzutreffen sind solche Anlagen
inGebäuden, bei denen dieAufzuganlage
nachgerüstet bzw. modernisiert worden
ist und kein Triebwerksraum zur Verfü-
gung steht. Die Notentriegelung muss
bei solchenAnlagen elektrisch überwacht
werden.
Diese Überwachungsfunktion ist im
Türverschluss integriert und arbeitet
zwangsweise, kann alsoweder umgangen
werden noch verloren gehen. Wird eine
Notentriegelung durchgeführt, sorgen
entsprechende, indenSchacht eingebaute
automatisch arbeitende Sicherheitssyste-
me dafür, dass der Schutz des Wartungs-
personals gewährleistet wird.

will present two innovations at the
interlift in the door lock area: it will in
future also be possible to actuate the com-
pact door lock ELF via a laterally annexed
roller lever (.40). As a result, this reliable
device becomes an affordable alternative
to the well-known DLF1 for home lift ap-
plications, where this kind of actuation is
often used due to space considerations.
In addition, the ELF will in future be pro-
vided with a multi-functional uses. A lock-
ing mechanism contact, auxiliary switch
and the contact for monitored emergency
release will be integrated in it. All contacts
or switches feature positive opening thanks
to the mechanical coupling. The plastics
used are UL-listed and designed according
to the fire protection class UL 94V0.
Increasing numbers of lifts have no safety
area or only to an inadequate extent for the
fitters in the shaft head or in the shaft pit.
Such lifts occur frequently in buildings in
which lifts have been retrofitted or modern-
ised and nomachine-room is available. The
emergency release has to be electrically
monitored in lifts of this kind.
This monitoring function is integrated in
the door lock and its operation is manda-
tory, i.e. it can neither be bypassed, nor
eliminated. If an emergency release is
performed, automatic safety systems built
into the shaft ensure that protection of the
maintenance personnel is guaranteed.
Kronenberg door locks have been in reli-
able use for many years throughout the
world and are equally highly regarded by
international door manufacturers andmain-
tenance companies on account of their
high quality and trouble-free use.
