Wittur hat am 19. September
2016 Geoffroy Durandet zum
neuen Managing Director of
Europe ernannt. In seiner neu-
en Rolle innerhalb der Wittur-
Gruppe wird er für den Bereich
European Sales and Operations
verantwortlich sein und das
Wachstum der Gruppe auf
dem europäischen Kontinent
vorantreiben.
Nun ist es offiziell: Petra Leon-
hardt ist als Geschäftsführerin
Teil der neuen Doppelspitze
von Hauer – the elevatorshop.
Sie trägt nun – gemeinsam mit
Geschäftsführer Kai Besemer –
die Gesamtverantwortung für
die Mitarbeiter und den Erfolg
von Hauer.
Petra Leonhardt ist seit mehr
als sechs Jahren Mitglied im
Hauer-Team und verantwortet
seit bereits drei Jahren als Pro-
kuristin die Bereiche Finanzen,
Marketing und Personal. „Wir
sind überzeugt, dass wir mit Kai
Besemer und Petra Leonhardt
die perfekte Besetzung haben,
um Hauer in eine erfolgreiche
Zukunft zu führen“, sind die
beiden Gesellschafter Peter und
Rainer Hauer überzeugt.
Geschäftsführer Kai Besemer
begrüßt die Berufung seiner
Kollegin als Geschäftsführerin.
„Wir haben uns für die Zukunft
viel vorgenommen und in die-
ser Konstellation sind dafür
die optimalen Voraussetzun-
gen geschaffen“, betonen die
beiden Geschäftsführer. Das
Jubiläumsjahr 2016 nutzte die
Geschäftsleitung auch, um sich

Vor seinem Wechsel zu Wittur
war Geoffroy Durandet für UTC
bei Otis tätig, wo er im Laufe
der letzten elf Jahre eine Reihe
leitender Funktionen inne hatte,
wie z. B. als Managing Director
für Otis in Luxemburg, Kanada,
demVereinigtenKönigreich und
der Republik Irland,Mitteleuro-
pa sowie zuletzt als Managing
Director undVice President von
neu auszurichten und die Ziele
für Hauer neu zu definieren.
Auf der Agenda stehen unter
anderemdie Erschließung neuer
Märkte sowie ein breiteres, noch
mehr an den Kundenbedarf
angepasstes Sortiment.

and personnel. “We are convinced
that we have the perfect people in
Kai Besemer and Petra Leonhardt
to lead Hauer to a successful future,”
the two partners Peter and Rainer
Hauer are convinced.
Managing director Kai Besemer
welcomed the appointment of his
colleague asmanagingdirector.“We
have a lot of plans for the future and
have created the ideal conditions for
them with this constellation,” em-
phasised both managing directors.
The management also took advan-
tage of the 2016 anniversary year
to reorganise and redefine Hauer’s
objectives. The agenda includes
opening up new markets, among
other things, and a wider product
range that is even better tailored to
customer needs.

Geoffroy Durandet besitzt einen
Master of Science in Elektro-
technik der CentraleSupélec in
Frankreich sowie einen MBA
der Harvard Business School in
den USA.

Wittur has appointed on Septem-
ber 19th, 2016 Geoffroy Durandet
as Managing Director of Europe. In
his new role within Wittur, he will
be responsible for European Sales
and Operations and drive Wittur
growth in the European continent.
Before joining Wittur Geoffroy
Durandet worked for UTC at Otis,
where he held a number of senior
positions over the last eleven
years as Managing Director for
Otis in Luxembourg, Canada, UK &
Republic of Ireland, Central Europe
and, most recently, as Managing
Director and Vice President of Otis
France. He worked previously for
McKinsey&Company in the US and
with Suez in a business develop-
ment role.
Geoffroy Durandet holds a Master
of Science in Electrical Engineering
fromCentrale-Supelec in France as
well as a MBA from Harvard Busi-
ness School in the USA.
