via Instant Messaging einen temporären

„Mit dem myPORT-System für den Om-
niturm gehen wir gemeinsammit Tishman
Speyer konsequent denWeg zum digitalen
Gebäude. Durch die große Anwendungs-
vielfalt und die hohe Integrationstiefe
schaffen wir neue Werte für die verschie-
denen Nutzergruppen“, sagt Jürgen Blank,

von Tishman Omniturm.
Den zukünftigen Bewohnern der 147Woh-
nungen des Omniturm bietet Schindler
myPORT weitere wertvolle Ergänzungen:
Sie können beispielsweise über ein statio-
näres PORT-Terminal in derWohnung oder
die myPORT-App auf dem Smartphone
mit Besuchern am Eingang per Videochat
kommunizieren.
Mit myPORT zum digitalen Gebäude
Mit einem simplen Klick auf die Einla-
dungstaste öffnen sie dem Gast die Tür
und stellen zugleich den Aufzug bereit,
der den Besucher automatisch in die
richtige Etage bringt. Auch die Besucher-
the 45-storey building, centrally-located in
Frankfurt’s banking district, by the beginning
of 2019. However, the high-rise developed by
the Bjarke Ingels Group will not only make a big
impression with its striking exterior: it will be the
first high-rise in Germany with genuine mixed
use, one that simultaneously includes office,
residential and public areas. This places espe-
cially high demands on vertical accessibility.
Individual and efficient
Schindler was commissioned to equip the
Omniturmwith high-performance lifts and the
transit management system PORT. Moreover,
the tower block will be the first commercial
building in Germany fitted with the Schindler
myPORT solution: if authorized building users
are identified at the entrance via smartphone or
chip card, optimal routes through the building
are facilitated for them to the desired target
floor – the seamless journey already begins
upon entering the building and the assigned
lift is already waiting.
The intelligent combination of traffic manage-
ment and access control produces maximum
efficiency and meets the requirements of
individual user groups in the building. “In a
high-rise building with mixed use like the
Omniturm, innovative technology is becoming
increasingly important. All aspects of use and
building technology in a modern and sustain-
able building will follow this development and
against this background we’re glad we were
able to find the right partner for access control
and lift management in the OMNITURM in the
form of Schindler,”revealed Florian Reiff, Senior
Managing Director of Tishman Omniturm.
With myPORT to the digital building
Schindler will provide the future inhabitants of
the 147 flats in the Omniturm with other valu-
able supplements with myPORT: for example,
they can communicate with visitors at the
entrance via video chat using a stationary PORT
terminal in their flat or via the myPORT app
on their smartphone. They can open the door
for the guest simply by clicking the invitation
button and at the same provide the lift that
will bring the visitors to the right storey. Visitor
administration of the office tenants will also
occur via the myPORT app. Visitors will receive
a temporary access code via instant messaging,
which they can already use at the entrance of
the underground garage and for the route to
their target floor.
“We are being consistent in taking the route to
the digital building with the myPORT system for
the Omniturm together with Tishman Speyer.
Thanks to the great application diversity and
advanced integration depth, we have created
new values for the various user groups,” ex-
plained Jürgen Blank, head of project business
and new technologies at Schindler Germany.
