Die Interlift, die weltweit wichtigste
Messe für den Aufzugbau, liegt hinter
uns. Die Messe ist auch in diesem Jahr
gewachsen, es gibt viele positive Stim-
men und Nachberichte. Im aktuellen
LIFTjournal können Sie noch einmal
von neu vorgestellten Produkten le-
sen, von begeisterten Ausstellern und
interessantenVorträgen imVFA-Forum
interlift. Intelligente und sichere Syste-
me spielten eine große Rolle auf der in-
terlift – und auch in diesemLIFTjournal,
dem letzten im Jahr 2017.

sollen dafür sorgen, dass Sie schnell,
problemlos und sicher von dem einem

The interlift, the leading world trade fair for
lift engineering, is now behind us. The trade
fair also grew this year and there are many
positive opinions and reviews. In the current
issue of LIFTjournal, you can once again
read about the newly-presented products,
delighted exhibitors and fascinating talks in
the VFA-Forum interlift. Safe, intelligent sys-
tems played a great role at the interlift - and
also do so in this LIFTjournal, the last of 2017.
Intelligent systems in lift engineering are
meant to ensure you can get from one floor
to the next quickly, easily and safely. But
intelligent ideas should also mean you can
relax occasionally and gain some distance
from work and stress.
You do not have to put the LIFTjournal aside
for this. Right at the back of this issue, you
will find a story that will also keep you enter-
tained on the sofa – a story about the history
of the escalator, launched 125 years ago.
