Das Produkt BiRoll Panorama

besitzt die Eigenschaften klas-

sischer Rollladenpanzer und

verfügt zusätzlich über eine

innovative Jalousiefunktion.

Diese ermöglicht den indi-

rekten Lichteinlass und eine

Luftzufuhr auch bei herunter-

gelassenemBehang.Gleichzei-

tig bietet die Jalousiefunktion

Sicht- und Sonnenschutz. Die

optionale Produktvariante

BiRoll Panorama Plus liefert

darüber hinaus einen in den

Rollladenstäben integrierten

Insektenschutz.

Der Schwerpunkt der tech-

nische Innovation des Pro-

duktes BiRoll Panorama liegt

inder Teilung eines herkömm-

lichen Rollladenstabs in zwei

Teile, die jeweils unterschied-

liche Funktionen erfüllen.

Das innenliegende Profilteil

besitzt die Funktion eines

Trägerprofils mit großen

Licht- und Luftöffnungen (20

mm x 55 mm). Das außenlie-

gende, bewegliche Profileteil

stellt eine Blende dar, die die

Licht- und Luftöffnungen des

Stabprofils verdeckt oder im

ausgeklappten Zustand frei

gibt. Die geöffneten Blenden

besitzen eine Lichtleitfunkti-

on, die indirektes Tageslicht

in den Innenraum reflektiert.

Verbunden sind die beiden

Profilteile durcheinen funktio-

nalen Scharniermechanismus.

Das Jalousieren der äußeren

Blende funktioniert aufgrund

einer Hebelwirkung allein

mittels Schwerkraft. Diese

Konstruktion ermöglicht den

Verzicht auf weitere Bauteile.

Gegen ein horizontales Ver-

schieben sind die beiden Pro-

filteile arretiert.

BiRoll Panorama / BiRoll Pano-

rama Plus – roller curtains with

Venetian blind function

The BiRoll Panorama has

the characteristics of classic

roller curtains and in addition

an innovative Venetian blind

function. This permits indirect

admission of light and air inlet

even if the curtain is lowered.

At the same time the Venetian

blind function offers privacy

and protection against the

sun. The optional product ver-

sion BiRoll Panorama Plus in

addition provides protection

against insects integrated in

the roller shutter rods.

The focus of the technical inno-

vation of the BiRoll Panorama

product is on the division of a

conventional roller shutter rod

into two, each of which has dif-

ferent functions The inside lath

has the function of a support

with large light and ventilation

openings (20 mm x 55 mm).

The external, moveable lath is

a shield, which covers the light

and ventilation openings of the

lath or when folded out releas-

es them. The opened shields

have a light guidance function,

reflecting indirect daylight into

the interior. The two lath sec-

tions are connected by a hinge

mechanism. The Venetian

blind function of the outer lath

works solely by means of a le-

ver effect utilising gravity. This

design permits doing with-

out additional components.

Both lath sections are locked

against shifting horizontally.

Drives with the new technol-

ogy “door drives almost with-

out standby consumption”

are currently the most energy

efficient, i.e. to secure opera-

tional readiness they only need

a minimum of energy (approxi-

mately 0.3 Watt). At the same

time they guarantee the per-

manent availability of all secu-

rity and comfort functions.

This is how the drive works:

figuratively speaking, the drive

system pulls its own plug out,

i.e. it separates itself automat-

ically from the mains supply

whenever and for as long as

the drive is not required.

The technology is based on

the active sleep mode devel-

oped by Marantec. In standby

mode all functionally not re-

quired internal and external

loads (e.g. light barriers) are

switched off. However, if the

system gets an impulse dur-

ing sleep mode, for example

from the hand transmitter, it is

instantly 100% functional.

The active sleep mode is sup-

plied via an integrated battery,

which when required inde-

pendently links up with the

mains grid, charges and then

breaks the connection. The

unique result of this proce-

dure is an extremely energy-

efficient drive system.

Antriebe mit der neuen Tech-

nologie„Torantriebe fast ohne

Standby-Verbrauch“ sind ak-

tuell die energieeffizientesten,

d. h. sie benötigen für die

Sicherstellung der Betriebs-

bereitschaft nur ein Mini-

muman Energie (ca. 0,3Watt).

Gleichzeitig garantieren sie

die permanente Verfügbarkeit

aller Sicherheits- und Kom-

fortfunktionen.

So funktioniert der Antrieb:

Bildlich gesehen zieht das

Antriebssystem eigenständig

den Netzstecker, d.h. es trennt

sich selbstständig von der

Netzversorgung, immer dann

und so lange wie der Antrieb

nicht benötigt wird.

Die Technologie basiert auf

dem von Marantec entwi-

ckelten aktiven Schlafmodus.

ImStandbyModuswerdenalle

funktional nicht benötigten

internen und externen Ver-

braucher (z.B. Lichtschranken)

abgeschaltet. Bekommt das

System allerdings während

des Schlafmodus einen Impuls,

bspw. durch den Handsender,

ist es augenblicklich zu 100%

funktionstüchtig.

Der aktive Schlafmodus wird

über einen integrierten En-

ergiespeicher versorgt, der

sich bei Bedarf eigenständig

mit dem Stromnetz verbin-

det, lädt und wieder trennt.

Das einzigartige Ergebnis

dieser Verfahrensweise ist

ein extrem energieeffizientes

Antriebssystem.
