Die Sick AG stellt in diesem Jahr
das erste Mal auf der Interlift in
Augsburg aus. Im Mittelpunkt
stehen Sensorlösungen für Aufzüge,
Fahrtreppen und Fahrsteige.
Moderne Aufzüge bieten heute höchsten
Fahrkomfort: fast lautloser Betrieb und
ruckfreies Beschleunigen undVerzögern.
Dafür verantwortlich kann der Enco-
der von Sick sein, der den Antrieb mit
Feedback-Signalen vom Motor versorgt.
Sick-Lösungen sorgen aber nicht nur für
den Komfort, sondern sind auch für zahl-
reiche andere Aspekte entscheidend. Bei-
spielsweise reduzieren sie die Geräusch-
entwicklung des Aufzugs für den Betrieb
in Wohn- und Bürogebäuden. Plötzlich
auftretende Last- und Kraftspitzen wer-
den verringert und damit die Mechanik
und der Motor geschont. Dies wiederum
verlängert die Lebensdauer aller Kom-
ponenten, sorgt für Zuverlässigkeit und
Verfügbarkeit, geringenWartungsbedarf
und Wirtschaftlichkeit.
Sick liefert für die Gebäudeautomation
eineVielzahl von Sensoren und Sensor-
lösungen: induktive und magnetische
Sensoren sowie optoelektronische mit
Lichtschranken und Lichtgitter oder
auchDrucküberwachung. Sick-Sensoren
liefern zuverlässige Informationen für
die Überwachung des Fahrkorbes, des
Antriebs, derTreibmittel, der Steuerung,
der Türen, der Schachtanlage oder der
Sicherheitsbauteile. Alle Lösungen sind
konform zur neuen Normenreihe EN81
für Aufzuganlagen. Dabei kommen
unterschiedliche Sensor-Technologien
zum Einsatz. Funktionale Sicherheit
wird ebenso bedient wie eine einfache
Installation, die durch die Vielfalt an
Sensorik, Modularität und Flexibilität
gegeben ist.
Auch bei der Überwachung der Bremse
und der Schachtkopierung mit Ge-
schwindigkeit und Positionierung, bei
der Überwachung der Aufzugstür, der
Druckmessung bei hydraulischen Auf-
zügen, der Absicherung von Spalten und
Gruben sowie bei der Endlagenkontrolle
für Fahrtreppen und Fahrsteige spielt
Sensorik eine große Rolle. Dabei ist es
unerheblich, ob es sich um linear ange-
triebene, treibscheibengetriebene oder
hydraulische Personen-, Lasten- und
Güteraufzüge handelt, oder um inno-
vative und zukünftige Technologien wie
„roomless“, „gearless“ und „wireless“.

Auf der Interlift präsentiert das Unter-
nehmen die Produkte in Halle 2, Stand
2182.
This year Sick AG will be exhibit-
ing for the first time at the interlift
in Augsburg. The focus will be on
sensor solutions for lifts, escalators and
moving walks.
Today modern lifts provide maximum travel
comfort: almost noiseless operation and
jerk-free acceleration and deceleration.
An encoder from Sick, which supplies the
motor with feedback signals from the mo-
tor, may be responsible for this. However,
Sick solutions do not just ensure comfort;
they also make a decisive contribution to
many other aspects. For example, they
lower the noise made by lift for operation
in residential and office buildings. This
reduces sudden load and force peaks and
conserves the mechanism and motor. As
a result, the service life of all components
is extended, ensuring reliability and avail-
ability, low maintenance requirements and
economic operation.
Sick provides a multitude of sensors and
sensor solutions for building automation:
inductive and magnetic sensors as well
as optoelectronic sensors with light barri-
ers and light grids or pressure monitoring.
Sick sensors provide reliable information
for monitoring the lift car, drive, drive
equipment, control, doors, shaft or safety
components. All solutions must comply
with the new EN81 standard series for lifts.
Different sensor technologies are used in
this respect. Functional safety is served as
well as easy installation, secured by the di-
versity of sensors, modularity and flexibility.
Sensors also play a major role in monitor-
ing the brake and shaft copying in terms
of speed and positioning, the lift door,
pressure measurement in hydraulic lifts,
safeguarding gaps and pits as well as end
position control for escalators and moving
walks. It makes no difference here whether
this involves linear-driven, traction shaft-
driven or hydraulic passenger or cargo
lifts or innovative and forward-looking
technologies like “roomless”, “gearless”
and “wireless.”

Speziell für Low Rise und Medium
Rise Aufzüge mit Asynchronmo-
toren (mit Getriebe) und offenem
oder geschlossenem Regelkreis entwi-
ckelte Gefran die Antriebe der Baureihe
VDL 200. Die neuen Frequenzumrichter
werden der Öffentlichkeit erstmals vom
13. - 16. Oktober 2015 auf der Interlift in
Augsburg präsentiert.
Die neue Baureihe zeichnet sich durch ex-
trem leistungsstarke Steueralgorithmen
aus. Dadurch können sie in Sensorless-
Konfigurationen installiert werden,
behalten jedoch den typischen Komfort
hochklassiger Umrichter bei. Dank der
einfachen Installation und Konfiguration
ist derVDL200 das ideale Produkt für die
Modernisierung von Altanlagen und für
Neuinstallationen.
Der Antrieb entspricht der Änderung A3
laut EN 81 in Bezug auf unkontrollierte
FahrkorbbewegungenUCM (Unintented
Car Movement). Er ist in den Motor-
baugrößen 4kW (5Hp) bis 11kW (15Hp)
lieferbar und verfügt über eine einphasi-
ge Notversorgung für die Rückkehr zum
Stockwerk mit „Low Energy“-Optimie-
rung, eine flexible Rampenverwaltung

Gefran developed the VDL 200 drive
series especially for low and me-
dium-rise lifts with asynchronous
motors (with gears) and open or closed
control circuits. The frequency converters
will be unveiled to the public for the first
time at the interlift in Augsburg from 13 – 16
October 2015.
The new series is distinguished by its ex-
tremely powerful control algorithms. As a
result they can be installed in sensorless
configurations, but retain the typical con-
venience of high quality converters. Thanks
