Mit dem SL4 lassen sich nicht nur
Piktogramme gemäß EN 81-28 und
EN 81-70 steuern, es verfügt auch
über eine integrierte Hörschleife zur
Unterstützung von Menschen mit
Hörbehinderung bei der Kommu-
nikation mit dem Rettungsdienst.
Die Konfiguration des Gerätes ist
einfacher als jemals zuvor, da das
SL4 – wie alle neuen Produkte von
SafeLine – mit CONNECTinside
ausgestattet ist. Dies ermöglicht
eine direkte drahtlose Konfiguration
via Bluetooth über die auf einem
Smartphone installierte kostenlose
App „SafeLine CONNECT“.
Cloud-basierte Konfiguration
Um die Konfiguration sogar noch
weiter zu vereinfachen, wird Safe-
Line im Frühjahr 2017 eCONNECT
präsentieren. Hierbei handelt es sich
um einen von SafeLine gehosteten
Cloud-basierten Dienst, der den
Aufzugunternehmen kostenlos zur
Verfügung gestellt wird. Einmal
mit dem eCONNECT-Account des
Unternehmens verbunden, können
Manager und Teamleiter Konfi-
gurationsvorlagen hochladen und
diese mit den Aufzugtechnikern
im Außendienst über die CON-
NECT-App teilen. Darüber hinaus
können Konfigurationsdateien in
der eCONNECT-Cloud unter der
Seriennummer der Aufzugtelefo-
ne gespeichert werden. Greift ein
Aufzugtechniker dann später über
die CONNECT-App von SafeLine auf das
einzelne Aufzugtelefon zu, wird er auf-
gefordert, die in der eCONNECT-Cloud
gespeicherte Konfiguration hochzuladen.
Die Konfiguration erfolgt somit reibungs-
loser denn je, und der zuständige Manager
hat mehr Kontrolle über den Vorgang als
jemals zuvor.
Aktuell gibt es viele Veränderungen im
Hinblick auf Telefonnetze. Obwohl die
Telefonanbieter mehrheitlich angeben, 2G-
Netze noch mehrere Jahre lang weiter zu
unterstützen, ist es SafeLine ein Anliegen,
den Kunden Sicherheit zu vermitteln.
Hierzu wird das Unternehmen Ende 2016
ein neues Modul auf den Markt bringen,

a car top mounted lift telephone
allowing triphonie with communica-
tion points in the lift cabin, on the car
roof and in the lift pit. An integrated
battery ensures operation in case of
a power outage and can also power
emergency light for the lift cabin. SL4
is not only able to control pictograms
in accordance with EN 81-28 and EN
81-70, it also has an integrated hear-
ing loop to further assist the hearing
impaired communicate with the
rescue service.
Configuration has never been easier
as SL4, like all new products from
SafeLine, has CONNECTinside. This
allows direct wireless configuration,
using Bluetooth, from a smartphone
through the free SafeLine CONNECT
app.
Cloud based configuration
To make configuration even simpler
SafeLine will present eCONNECT
during the early months of 2017. This
is a cloud based service hosted by
SafeLine and offered to the lift com-
panies for free. Once connected to
the company’s eCONNECT account,
managers and team leaders can
upload configuration templates and
share themwith the lift technicians in
the field through the CONNECT app.
Configuration files can also be stored
in the eCONNECT cloud based on the
lift telephones serial number. When
a lift technician later accesses the
individual lift telephone via SafeLines
CONNECT app, he will be asked to
upload the configuration stored in
eCONNECT. Configuration has never
been more trouble-free and the manager has
never been more in control of the process.
In these years many changes are going on in
the telephone networks. Even though most
telephone providers indicate that they will con-
tinue to support 2G networks for several years
more, SafeLine is dedicated to give the customers
peace of mind. To do so a new module support-
ing 2G, 3G and 4G network connections will be
introduced in late 2016. All new lift telephones
and gateways will of course be offered with this
new module. For existing SL6 and GL6 units an
upgrade kit will be available for order if the sup-
port for the 2G network changes.
Plenty of other newproducts and concepts are in
the pipeline scheduled to be introduced during
2017, making the life for SafeLine’s customers
even easier and safer. After all it is SafeLine’s vision
to remain the experts of communication, keeping
you safe today and tomorrow.
