Die meisten der rund 750000 Aufzuganla-
gen in Deutschland sind älter als zwanzig
Jahre. Sie sind einemnatürlichen Verschleiß
ausgesetzt und erleiden mehr oder weniger
häufig Störungen. Eine der häufigsten Stö-
rungsursachen sind die Schachttüren und
Kabinentüren. Diese bewegten Teile stehen
in direktem Kontakt mit den Nutzern. Sie
sind somit Vandalismus und einer erhöhten
Abnutzung ausgesetzt.
Dabei erledigen die Kabinentüren die
meisten Fahrten einer Aufzuganlage, weil
diese ja in der Haltestelle die entsprechende
Schachttüre durch einmechanisches System
(Mitnehmer oder Schwert) „mitnimmt“.
Der Türantrieb mit seinen vielen Bauteilen
unterliegt dadurch einer hohen Bean-
spruchung und einer damit verbundenen
Störanfälligkeit.
Eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher, hersteller-
spezifischer Türantriebe und Türantriebs-
systeme sind im Markt verbaut. Oftmals
variieren diese auch noch innerhalb der
Hersteller.Wenn ein Türantrieb ausfällt,
geschieht dies normalerweise plötzlich und
ohne vorherige Ankündigung. Die Folge
ist, dass die komplette Aufzuganlage außer
Betrieb ist. Höchste Priorität hat nun, die
Ausfallzeit so kurz wie möglich zu halten
und mit einer schnellen Reparatur die An-
lage wieder in Betrieb setzen zu können.

Diese Reparatur muss vomLieferanten des
neuen Antriebs im besten Fall so vorberei-
tet sein, dass
• durch eine einfache und überzeugende
Montageanleitung sowohl der Abbau
der defekten Teile
• wie auch die Montage der neuen
Komponenten alle Arbeitsschritte für
den Servicetechniker vor Ort selbst-
erklärend, eindeutig und problemlos
umsetzbar sind
• alle in der Lieferung enthaltenen Teile
klar und deutlich beschriftet und zuzu-
ordnen sind.
Genau an diesem Punkt setzt Meiller mit
seinem Konzept RepKit an. RepKits sind
Reparatursätze für den eins zu eins Ersatz
von exakt definierten, defekten Kabinen-
türantrieben verschiedener Hersteller. Sie
wurden für die am häufigsten am Markt
vorkommenden Türantriebe entwickelt.
Diese RepKits bestehen aus jeweils zwei
Kartons, in denen alle Teile für die Erneu-
erung des defekten Antriebes enthalten
sind. War der alte Antrieb mit einem
Spreizschwert ausgestattet, ist beim neuen
Reparatursatz selbstverständlich auch wie-
der ein entsprechendes Schwert beigelegt.
Diese beiden Kartons sind bei allen
verschiedenen Antrieben jeweils in der
gleichen Logik aufgebaut. Dazu sindMon-
tageanleitungen beigelegt, in denen jedes

moving parts are in direct contact with
users. Consequently, they are exposed to
vandalismand increased wear.
Car doors handle most lift journeys, since after
all, they “catch” the corresponding landing doors
at the stop through a mechanical system (catch
or skate). As a result, the door drive with its many
components is subject to a great deal of stress and
an associated susceptibility to malfunctioning.
Many different, manufacturer-specific door drives
anddoor drive systems are installedon themarket.
These often also vary within manufacturers.
If a door drive fails, it normally happens suddenly
and without prior warning. As a result, the entire
lift is out of order. The top priority is now keeping
the downtime as short as possible andgetting the
lift back into operation with a fast repair.
Ideally, this repair should be organised by the
supplier of the new drive to ensure that
• by means of simple and convincing assembly
instructions, for both the demounting of the
defective parts
• as well as the mounting of the new compo-
nents, all work steps are clear and self-explana-
tory for the service technician on the spot and
can be implemented without any problems
• all of the parts included in the delivery are
labelled clearly and capable of being correctly
allocated.
This is precisely what Meiller‘s RepKit is designed
for. RepKits are repair kits for one-to-one replace-
ment of precisely-defined, defective car door
drives of various manufacturers. They have been
developed for the most common drives on the
market.
These RepKits consist of two cartons each in
which all parts for renewal of the defective drive
are included. If the old drive was fitted with an
expanding skate, a corresponding skate is of
course included in the new repair kit.
These two cartons have the same structure in
all of the different drives. Assembly instructions
are included in which every part required for the
conversion is numbered and described.
