Seit vielen Jahren bietet die Meiller Aufzug-
türenGmbHprofessionelle Lösungen für die
Modernisierung an. So wurden zahlreiche
Konzepte entwickelt, etwa Kabinentüren
mit Mitnehmern, die an die Schachttüren
fremder Hersteller oder auch die eigenen
früheren Türgenerationen angepasst sind.
Auf der interlift 2017präsentierteMeiller ein
neues Produkt in der Reihe seiner Moderni-
sierungslösungen: die Türserie Kompakt.
Im ersten Schritt werden die Kabinentü-
ren ausgetauscht, die alten Schachttüren
können vorerst im Schacht verbleiben und
werden durch die neue Kabinentür betätigt.
Der Betreiber muss also nicht sofort viel
Geld für einen Tausch aller Schacht- und
Kabinentüren bereitstellen, sondern kann
frühzeitig eine Modernisierung „Schritt
für Schritt“ budgetieren und planen.Wenn
später die Schachttüren getauscht werden,
sind an der Kabinentür keine erneutenAn-
passungsmaßnahmen notwendig: es muss
nur das speziell angepasste Türschwert
gegen einen Standardmitnehmer ausge-
tauscht werden.
Aber auch Schachttüren sind Tag für Tag
erheblichen Belastungen durch unsach-
gemäßen Gebrauch oder Vandalismus
ausgesetzt, die oft zu Störungen oder
Ausfällen an Aufzügen führen. Dagegen
hilft nur der Einsatz von robusten und
widerstandsfähigen Komponenten. Der
Einsatz von hochwertigen Komponenten
soll sicherstellen, dass Meiller-Türen auch
unter schwierigsten Bedingungen zuver-
lässig funktionieren.
Auf der interlift 2017 präsentierte Meiller
erstmals ein neues Produkt in der Reihe
seiner Modernisierungslösungen: die Tür-
serie Kompakt. Diese besticht mit extrem
niedrigen Kämpferhöhen – nur 218 mm

have been adjusted to the landing doors
of third-party manufacturers or to its
own earlier door generations. Meiller
presented a new product in its series of
its modernisation solutions at the 2017
interlift: the compact door series.
As a first step, the car doors are replaced; the old
landing doors can remain in place for the time
being and are actuated by the newcar door. Con-
sequently, operators do not immediately have to
spend a lot of money to replace all of the landing
and car doors, but can instead budget and plan
at an early stage for“step-by-step”modernisation.
If landing doors have to be replaced later, no re-
newed modification measures have to be made
to the car door: only the specially-modified door
vane has to be replaced with a standard catch.
But landing doors are also exposed to consider-
able daily loading by improper use or vandalism,
which often leads to disruptions or failures in lifts.
The only remedy is the deployment of sturdy,
resilient components. The Munich company
emphasised that Meiller was well-known for its
solid product quality in the field of doors. The use
of high quality components ensured that Meiller
doors would also work reliably under the most
difficult conditions.
Meiller presented a new product in its series of
modernisation solutions at the 2017 interlift: the
compact door series. This is distinguished by
extremely low impost heights – only 218 mm in
the landing and 305 mm in the car doors. This is
important, because especially when it comes to
old lifts, there aremany landingdoorswith impost
heights of 250mmand less. Provided these doors
are hung completely in the shaft, this is usually
no problem. But if they are mounted in the wall
niche, replacement with new doors with greater
impost heights is not feasible or associated with
expensive cutting work.
While many modernisation concepts promise
space-saving solutions, but do not provide the
desired performance, Meiller promises to provide
doors with sophisticated technology and of high
quality. The imposts of the compact doors cor-
respond to the design of their standard doors.
They are designed as closed, torsionally-rigid
box structures and as a result guarantee not only
great strength, but also protect the mechanism
and electric components in the impost against
falling dirt.
