They will cover all of the technical aspects of operating modern vertical-horizontal con- veyances in and between buildings: from drive technology, specialist lift planning, building automation, hygiene and disinfection tech- nology for surfaces and components, safety technology, such as fire and emergency call systems, sensors, system integration and net- working to access control. CONFERENCE SUBJECTS ALREADY FIXED The conference will run parallel to the E2 Forum Frankfurt on both trade fair days. Its main fo- cus will be on questions of digitalisation and the technical and sustainable integration of lift and escalator technology in buildings and smart city districts. The digital expert Frank Rieger, spokesman of the Chaos Computer Club, is to provide the first highlight in his opening talk on the subject of cybersecurity. This will be followed by about 50 expert talks on both conference days on the main subjects: • cybersecurity • digital infrastructure – challenges and solutions • the lift in building planning • barrier-freedom and in situ construction • integrating lifts in modern buildings • urbanisation, smart city, sustainability • data interfaces with the buildings • lifts and escalators in the urbanisation process • from maintenance to inspection.
