Der Bundesverband Rollladen + Son- nenschutz (BVRS) gehört zu den über 60 Teilnehmern an der 2017 mit Un- terstützung des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie vonVerbän- den und Herstellern gegründetenWirt- schaftsinitiative „Smart Living“. Erklär- tes Ziel der Aktion ist es, „den Transfer von Innovationen in den Markt zu beschleunigen, Hindernisse zu beseitigen und zukunftsfähige Marktstrategien zu entwickeln“. Im Vordergrund steht dabei die mit dem Begriff Smart Home verbun- dene Digitalisierung derWohn- und Lebensumgebung in allen ih- ren Erscheinungsformen – Rollläden und automatisierter Sonnen- schutz selbstverständlich in vollem Umfang inbegriffen. Auf dem Feld der Hausautomation ist das Rollladen- und Sonnen- schutztechniker-Handwerk umso mehr gefordert, als es einen in Jahrzehnten erworbenen reichen Erfahrungsschatz bei der Moto- risierung, Elektrifizierung und Steuerung von intelligentem Son- nenschutz aller Art beisteuern kann. Auch am Stand des BVRS auf der R+T ist dasThema Hausautoma- tion in Form des R+T Smart Home Forums mit täglichenVorträgen und Diskussionsrunden zu diesem Thema (jeweils ab 12.00 Uhr) prominent präsent. Fest steht: Die Digitalisierung verändert nicht nur die Arbeitsab- läufe in den RS-Fachbetrieben, es entwickeln sich auch neue Ge- schäftsfelder, die es für das die Fachbetriebe des RS-Handwerk zu erschließen gilt. Das Marktpotenzial von Smart-Home-Technolo- gien ist mit hohen Erwartungen an Wachstum und Umsätze ver- bunden. The declared aim of the action is “to accelerate the transfer of innovations in the market, eliminate obstacles and develop forward- looking strategies.”Pride of place is taken by the digitalisation of the residential and living environment associated with the term smart home in all of its manifestations – including roller shutters and au- tomated sun protection of course to the full. In the field of building automation, the roller shutter and sun pro- tection mechatronic handicraft is all the more called for, since it can provide a tremendous trove of experience, acquired over decades in the motorisation, electrification and control of intelligent sun pro- tection of all kinds. The subject of building automation is also very evident at the BVRS stand at the R+T in the form of the R+T Smart Home Forum with daily talks and discussion rounds (each frommidday). There can be no doubt that digitalisation will not only alter the work processes of the RS specialist companies, but new business fields will also develop that the RS handicraft specialist companies need to open up. There are high expectations for growth and turnover re- garding the market potential of smart home technologies.
